The Birthplace of Paris

Next stop, the Crypt of Notre-Dame, a view of the original city of the Gauls. It reminded me of the Pointe-à-Callière museum in Montreal where you can see remains of the original old port underground. In fact, Montreal's exhibit provides a much better view perhaps because it has seen less destruction, plundering and redevelopment than Paris!
