On our way!!

So, this is the first blog entry from our 2011-12 Winter holiday. We will be starting out with four days in Paris and will jet over to Manchester to meet up with Kirsten's mum, stay with family from her Dad's side, then in the New Year, spend about a week in Ireland, tracing the family roots, and hopefully more pubs than gravesites.

Right now, we're sittting in Philadelphia airport waiting for a connection. First bump in the road has already been felt. The swanky credit card that David was a happy to get for free, along with access to VIP airport lounges was a bit of a dud. It turns out it only allows us access to the lounge in MONTREAL with more options coming soon.
